VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT: Kelsey Koenig // While looking for a full-time position in Vermont, attorney Kelsey Koenig discovered LSV’s Pro Bono Program. This program has given Kelsey the opportunity to do legal work in areas that she would otherwise not have the opportunity to focus on. Kelsey remembers volunteering at her first Family Law Clinic — our bimonthly opportunity for low-income Vermonters to receive advice on their family law matter with a 40-minute appointment with a volunteer attorney. The initial nerves she felt became excitement by the time her volunteer appointments ended and she was rewarded with seeing the immediate effect of her time and expertise: making clients feel more at ease as she guided them through the next steps of their legal matter.

We’re lucky to have Kelsey as a volunteer!

Legal Services Vermont is hosting a free Family Law Clinic for low-income Vermonters on Thursday, July 30!

Do you have questions about divorce, custody, parentage, visitation, child support, or another family law matter? At our clinic, you can meet with a volunteer attorney who will answer your questions and advise on your situation.

Appointments are held by phone and video. Call us at 1-800-889-2047 and leave a message to be screened for the clinic.
