If you're waiting for an employment-based green card, the Visa Bulletin is the one document you need to check every single month. 👇
Published by the State Department each month, it tells you exactly where you stand in line and when you can move forward.
Here's how it works:
📌 Your Priority Date is your place in line; the date your labor certification (PERM) or I-140 was filed.
📌 The Visa Bulletin shows which priority dates are being processed that month.
📌 If your date is earlier than the Bulletin's date for your category and country: your number is up.
📌 "C" (Current) means no waiting — you can move forward now.
📌 Two tables: Final Action Dates (when you can receive your green card) and Dates for Filing (when you can submit your I-485).
Questions about your priority date? You can call us at (800)320-2222 and book your appointment with attorney Linnette, and you will get all the details about your case.
