Aspiring Life, Health & Accident Insurance Agent | Kern County Advocate
I protect families in every season.
As a California Realtor for 4 years, I’ve sat at kitchen tables across Kern County explaining interest rates and closing costs to families who thought homeownership wasn’t for them. My job was to make the biggest purchase of their life feel safe. And we did.
But 6 months after closing day, I kept hearing: “My husband got laid off and we lost coverage.” “Mom’s hospital bill wiped out our savings.” “We cashed out the 401k when my daughter got sick.”
We were protecting the house, but not the people inside it.
My own house taught me that first. I’m the primary advocate for a household of 6 in Kern County. We navigate disability, Medi-Cal, specialists, and supplemental plans every day. I’ve filled out the same 20-page form 5 times because one box was wrong. I’ve appealed denied claims at 11pm after putting kids to bed. I’ve had to choose between a prescription co-pay and the electric bill.
That’s why I’m transitioning into Life, Health & Accident Insurance.
Why families work with me:
I speak human, not insurance. Real estate taught me to take 100-page contracts and explain them in 3 sentences. Term vs. whole life? HMO vs. PPO? AD&D riders? I’ll tell you what it means for your dinner table, not the textbook.
I know the stakes. When you’re disabled, a $25/month policy isn’t “extra.” It’s the difference between buried in bills or buried with dignity. I don’t sell fear. I sell options, because I’ve lived without them.
I’m already in the community. My clients aren’t leads. They’re the families I see at CAPK food giveaways, the moms I help call 2-1-1, the neighbors who ask me to read their denial letter. Kern County isn’t a “territory.” It’s home.
What I Do:
I help individuals, families, and small business owners in Kern County find affordable coverage for:
Life Insurance: Term, whole, IUL, and final expense for seniors
Health Insurance: ACA/Covered California, hospital indemnity, critical illness, supplemental plans
Accidental & Disability: AD&D and income protection for 1099 workers, Realtors, and self-employed
If you already own a home, we can review how your mortgage protection, life insurance, and health coverage work together. If you don’t, I’ll still make sure you’re covered — because a lease is easier to replace than a life.
I got into real estate to build generational wealth. I’m getting into insurance to make sure one emergency room visit doesn’t erase it.
