Michelle and Steve,

It has come to my attention that the Florida Supreme Court has recognized October 11th through 17th as mediation week! This is a great opportunity for me to tell you that I am so appreciative of your hard work. Thank-you for being available, flexible in your schedule, pleasant to work with, and most of all, incredibly talented mediators! You have skills that I simply do not, and I could not manage this docket without you.

Please Please Please! Do not take advice from people on Facebook or SwipSwap about not paying rent or being evicted. I have seen MANY conversations where people are telling people they don't have to pay their rent this month and they can't be evicted. ONLY LICENSED ATTORNEYS are permitted to give legal advice. If you are a tenant and have a question about paying your rent, communicate with your landlord.

We understand that this virus is not going to stop conflicts and remain available for video and telephonic mediations. We have tech support available for anyone unsure of the technology.

I overheard a conversation behind me in a line today...
Daughter: I texted dad today
Mom: Why would you do that!!!!????? You know he hasn’t paid me child support!
Daughter: He is doing good.
Mom: I can’t believe you called him!
Daughter: silent... head down
Mom: He still hasn’t paid me back for the thing I bought and put on my credit card!
Daughter: still silent.

A conversation that should never happen with a child... that is very unfair.
