Andruschat Law Firm is honored to announce another phenomenal trial result on behalf of our client, Carlos. Carlos was injured when he was rear ended by an employee of Mavis Tire Supply on December 31st, 2016, in Buffalo, New York.
The insurance company adjuster for Mavis repeatedly denied that the driver was employed by Mavis at the time of the crash. This is where the experience and resources of Andruschat Law Firm benefitted Carlos. We hired a private investigator (using a hidden camera) who interviewed a Mavis manager almost 2 years after the crash. Part of the video is attached. We later proved to the court that not only was the driver employed by Mavis, but that his negligence was the sole cause of the crash.
The trial on injury and damages was adjourned several times due to COVID and finally scheduled for October, 2022. We tried the case over several weeks last month and received the Court’s decision yesterday. We began preparing for the trial in January and hired 5 different experts to testify about Carlos’ injuries, including a neck surgery and a back surgery, and his inability to return to his jobs both in manufacturing and pizza delivery. We also had to contend, as we always do at trial, with an insurance company doctor claiming Carlos wasn’t injured that badly.
Our experience and commitment to Carlos made the difference. We become good friends over the last 6 years.
