BANK/LENDER REAL ESTATE PARALEGAL

Duggan & Pawlowski LLP, a boutique Real Estate Law Firm in Buffalo New York, is seeking a Bank Paralegal in our mortgage department to work with our lender clients on mortgage transactions for purchasers. Prior lender mortgage paralegal experience is preferred, but not required. The workload is very fast-paced and the work environment is fun, but focused. A successful candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, available to work at our office in downtown Buffalo during business hours Monday through Friday, and have a strong work ethic and teamwork attitude.

COMPENSATION: Salary Range is $45,000 - $65,000. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional compensation includes a highly competitive federal benefit package with health insurance, paid parking, and a retirement plan.

Real Estate Associate Attorney

Duggan & Pawlowski LLP, a boutique Downtown Buffalo Real Estate law firm, is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney with a strong work ethic and teamwork attitude. The workload is very fast-paced and the work environment is fun, but focused. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, attentive to detail and possess strong communication skills. We are willing to train if real estate experience is limited. Salary commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee residential and commercial real estate transactions from contract inception to close
* Act as main point of contact when representing mortgage lenders
* Attend transaction closings with and on behalf of clients
* Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and revising real estate contracts with clients
* Drafting, reviewing real estate documents
* Reviewing title commitments, policies and dealing with all title and survey matters, including review of title related instruments and surveys
* Open and oversee estate matters with Surrogates Court

Required Skills and Education:
* Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school
* Admission and in good standing with the NYS Bar
* Experience in Residential Real Estate is preferable but not required
* Strong drafting and negotiation skills
* Exceptional organizational and communication skills
* Excellent academic credentials
