In any kind of toxic relationship, it’s critical for you to find these amazing non-judgmental people who will listen and express empathy for what you’re enduring and shine a light on the path to healing.

Every year at the holiday season The Center for Hope, WNY shines a light on survivors of narcissistic abuse. According to statistics, intimate partner abuse increases over the holidays, for a few possible reasons:

Stress from holiday shopping, finances, and planning can aggravate volatile personalities.
Abusers are more likely to partake in alcohol or drugs when they don’t have to work.
Simple opportunity: abusers are more likely to be home alone with their victims than at other times of the year.
Donate today to help us raise $4,500 to fund 10 scholarships for people to attend our 6-session Narcissistic Abuse Education and Recovery workshop series. Your one-time donation of $75.00 is a gift to a survivor to participate in one session of our workshop. Ongoing support is vital for us to continue to offer this group at low or no cost. Please consider a small monthly donation. Any contribution can make a significant difference in a survivor’s life.

This year's Purple Party will be a wonderful evening of exceptional food and drinks, music, and the company of good friends with live music from Jess Bennett Duo. The event will also feature a Fifty-Fifty raffle, and a basket raffle!⁠

At The Center for Hope, WNY our mission is to help survivors navigate the difficult road when leaving an abusive relationship. For many, the holidays are a time for cheer and happiness. But for abuse survivors or for victims still living with their abusers, the holidays can be a nightmare. Abusers often exacerbate their abusive behavior during the holiday season with an increase in emotional and physical abuse and violence. This can cause increased stress, anxiety and trauma for the survivor and for their children.

Please help us to help survivors of abuse by lighting their path out of an abusive relationship with hope, help and healing. Our fundraising campaign begins today, in light of Giving Tuesday.
