Last night Jim Nash was sworn in as the President of the WNY Trial Lawyers Association, the only organization in Buffalo that represents both the plaintiff and defense bar. He took over for Joe Manna (on the right) who served as the last President. The group threw a fantastic party last night. Congrats Jim!!!

Tonight we celebrated our founding partner Daniel Connors, who was awarded the Defense Trial Lawyers Association’s Neil Sherwood award. The award is given to celebrate an attorney who exemplifies civility in the practice of law. Congrats Dan on receiving such a distinguished award!

George began his legal career with the District Attorney’s office and has considerable experience handling personal injury claims, including approximately 100 jury verdicts. He has served on the boards of the Taste of Buffalo, Irish Classical Theatre, the Boys and Girls Club of Buffalo and the Arts Council of Buffalo and Erie County. Jim Nash made the mistake of telling the staff they could have the day off if the Bills beat the Patriots by more than 21 points. Instead of taking the day off, the staff surprised him by wearing their finest Bills gear (and not letting him in on the secret)!
