The last few weeks have been a whirlwind of emotions, but I’ll settle with “Excitement”
When the “ViD” hit in 2020, I lost my business and I was SCARED as HECK.
56 yrs old at the time… I knew I had to do something to survive and it wasn’t going to be easy. And it wasn’t…
I started my online business, working from home on April 1st, 2020
After MANY bumps and bruises in my journey, there was one thing that kept me from quitting…
The beautiful people that I met all around the globe!
I’ve been SO Blessed and fortunate to have met some amazing people since I started this journey 4 years ago. Some have become mentors - some have become business partners. But the most heartwarming thing that means the most, is that nearly ALL of them have become friends.
Life was great and business was BOOMING!
Then something bad happened…
Over the last year and a half - my business took some very HARD hits financially. That’s all I’m gonna say about that.
I learned a VERY hard and valuable lesson…
I allowed my business model to rely too much on other companies' successes and failures. Hence the “HARD financial hit”
Guess what?
I was right back where I started… “SCARED as HECK~!
That brings me to today (well actually, July 25th, 2024 officially)
Here I am again starting over at 60 years old…
A few months ago I was approached by one of my friends and mentor asking me if I would like to partner with them in a NEW business.
A business that WE controlled… OUR terms and OUR rules.
I didn’t hesitate a second - YES let’s do this~!
The business plan is brilliant and most of all, we share the same business values.
“Integrity - Loyalty - Community - Support - Value - Communication and Transparency”
You see… this person is not just some random online connection.
This is a person whom I have the utmost respect for. A person who is the hardest working person I have ever met with a true entrepreneurial mind and spirit that gives and shares… And a GREAT friend~!
So yes, when Shelly Turner asked me to partner with her in a new business, I didn’t hesitate.
I am so honored to be a part of this new venture with her… more than I can EVER express in words.
I’ve had an amazing and interesting life. No complaints. And now, I am ecstatic for this next chapter.
