• Fiesta de Mu***os Festival: Scottsdale Civic Center, 3939 N Drinkwater Blvd, Scottsdale | 1–10 PM. Enjoy the Catrina Fashion Contest, the Desfile de los Mu***os procession at 7 PM, and GRAMMY-nominated Lupita Infante at 8 PM.
• MIKIZTLI: Día de los Mu***os PHX, Arizona Center, 455 N 3rd St, Phoenix | 4–9 PM. This free, family-friendly event features mariachi and ballet folklórico, art vendors, food trucks, a community ofrenda, and the 8-foot-tall “Las Flacas” animated skeleton puppets procession.
• Mesa Arts Center Día de los Mu***os Festival: 1 E Main St, Mesa | Saturday 12–10 PM; Sunday 12–5 PM. Free, with live music across multiple stages, Lila Downs Saturday at 8 PM, altars, hands-on activities, and a sensory-friendly Relaxed Hour both days from 11 AM–12 PM.

SUNDAY, OCT. 25

Downtown Peoria is getting a new gathering spot, with a target month! 🏗️

Jefferson House, the shipping-container food and shop hub at 8308 W. Jefferson St. near 83rd Ave, is targeting a November 2026 opening. No specific opening day has been announced.

Here’s a preview of the planned lineup:
• Stoop Kid: bagels and smash burgers
• Local Hive Pizza Co.: wood-fired pies, often finished with hot honey
• Hope’s Frybread: sweet and savory stuffed frybread
• Chewk’s Cookies: warm cookies and soft serve
• JOOS: cold-pressed juices, wellness shots and smoothies
• Good Trouble: courtyard bar with 20 beers on tap and specialty cocktails

Also planned: a live music stage, splash pad, and shops including The Book Haul, Lovely Goods, and Fade & Blade Studio.
