She will be an astounding Solicitor!!!
On March 6, 2026, I qualified to run for Solicitor General of Spalding County. After considerable prayer and tremendous support from my family, friends and colleagues, I humbly come to you for your support in serving my community.
I was raised in Fayetteville, GA; however, my mom moved our family home to Griffin 28 years ago. When I came home from college on breaks and holidays, Griffin was my home, and Griffin continues to be where my family gathers. My mom and stepfather continue to live in and support this community. My sister is a 25-year resident of Griffin, and her husband joined her here 15 years ago. In 2024, I made Griffin my permanent home.
I have served my community for 13 years as a trial attorney within the Griffin Judicial Circuit, 12 of those years in service as a full-time prosecutor. I served as an Assistant Solicitor General in Fayette County for seven years and have served with the Griffin Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office for five years. I also spent a year and a half in between in private practice handling family law, criminal defense and personal injury matters; however, I quickly realized fair and just prosecution was my calling and had to return to it.
I have dedicated my entire career to public service. Before becoming an attorney, I served the State for 13 years with the Department of Juvenile Justice. I have also had the honor of serving as the Mayor of Haralson, Georgia.
I obtained my Bachelor's Degree from Georgia College and State University, my Master's Degree in Public Administration from Georgia State University and my Juris Doctorate from Atlanta's John Marshall University. While in law school, I founded the Public Interest Law Society to help students wanting to become practicing public servants and to offer scholarships to help offset costs of internships.
For 13 years I have served on the Griffin Judicial Circuit Domestic Violence Task Force, with one year in service as the Chair of the Task Force. This year, I serve as Co-Chair of the Task Force. I served from 2013-2023 on the Advo-Kids CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for the Griffin Judicial Circuit, headquartered here in Griffin. My service to CASA included one year as the Chairperson and one year as the Secretary.
In addition to my older sister, I have a younger brother who lives in Geneva, GA, and my dad and stepmother who live in Dublin, GA. I am a proud fiancé and a dog mom to a 15-year-old rescue.
