Patients trust their doctors with their health—and that trust should never be used as an opportunity for s*xual abuse or misconduct.
A doctor should NOT:
• Perform an intimate or ge***al examination without a clear medical reason and your consent
• Touch you during an intimate examination without appropriate gloves
• Insist that you completely undress when it is not medically necessary
• Refuse a reasonable request to have another person present during an examination
If something happened during a medical exam that made you feel violated, uncomfortable, or unsafe, you have the right to ask questions and learn about your legal options.
You don't have to navigate what happened alone. Speaking with an experienced attorney may help you understand your rights and potential next steps. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝘁 (𝟴𝟴𝟴) 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗟𝗮𝘄𝟭.
