ALERT: VAWA, U and T visa programs have NOT been cancelled or terminated!
A recent federal announcement of policy changes has been circulating around social media,
but it does not cancel or terminate the VAWA, U visa, and T visa programs.
● These programs were created by Congress to help survivors who have experienced
domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and/or other serious crimes.
● Congress wrote these protections into law and only Congress can change them.
● If you or someone you know might qualify for these protections, speak with a local
qualified attorney. Free and low-cost legal help is available at
immigrationadvocates.org/legaldirectory/
● If you have applied for these programs, consider keeping all your important paperwork
in a safe place and carrying copies with you at all times.
The Alliance for Immigrant Survivors will share further updates as verified information

Ayisyen ki te vini Ozetazini le 3 jen 2024 oswa anvan dat sa ka elijib pou TPS. Haitians who have been in the US since or before June 3, 2024 may be eligible for TPS.
