I’m so honored to be joining this incredible panel at Fairfield University’s Dean’s Dialogue: The Relationship Crisis — Connection, Interrupted on September 21.
As a family law attorney and mediator, I spend so much of my professional life with people at some of the most difficult and vulnerable moments in their relationships. I see relationships ending, certainly, but I also see people trying very hard to communicate, to co-parent, to forgive, to compromise, and sometimes to find a different way forward.
It has made me think a great deal about what allows relationships to endure and what happens when our ability to truly communicate, connect, and repair begins to break down.
I’m especially excited for this conversation because we’ll be looking at relationships through such different lenses: law, psychology, therapy, faith, family advocacy, community, and belonging. I have a feeling I’ll learn just as much from my fellow panelists as I’ll contribute.
And as a mom, this conversation feels even more meaningful. How we model relationships, conflict, empathy, forgiveness, and connection ultimately teaches the next generation how to do the same.
Monday, September 21 at 6:00 p.m. at Fairfield University. The event is free and open to the public.
I would absolutely love to see some familiar faces there. ❤️
