It’s amazing how Summit County has changed. You can dine in a couple of the old buildings that were located in Dillon before they made Lake Dillon Reservoir. The ODI (Old Dillon Inn) & The Mint are now located in Silverthorne.

Side by side comparison of Old Dillon and Dillon Reservoir, Colorado. Old Dillon was right in the middle of the lake. In the original photo , you can see the mountain where Swan Mountain Road goes. You are looking almost directly at Sapphire Point. Also, the original photo has Baldy just visible on the right side. - Jeff Wilson

The map in the comments shows where Old Dillon, Colorado was located before the Dillon Reservoir was built.
