Last month, we challenged young lawyer affiliates across Florida to organize back-to-school supply drives and donate the supplies to a local school - or schools - of their choice.
And we are here to report that our affiliates faced that challenge HEAD ON - and crushed it! 💪🏻
Here's the eye-popping "By The Numbers" stats from a month of community service by these hard-working, selfless young lawyers:
23 - Number of local bar affiliates who participated
17 - Number of backpack drives
495 - Number of total backpacks filled with school supplies
1,712 - Numbers of additional individual school supply items
3 - Number of car loads - yes, CAR LOADS! 🤯 - of additional supplies
No words. Just ... 👊.
Look at all the good we can do when !
Thank you to all the affiliates that took part in these drives - and another thank you to all the individual lawyers who took time out of their busy schedules to collect the supplies ... organize the supplies ... choose deserving schools FOR the supplies ... and then loading up their own personal cars and hand-delivering the supplies to the students and the teachers.
Great, GREAT work, everyone! 🏫 👦🚸🚍🖋✏📝🖇🎨⚖
