For buyers:
• Less competition than the busy spring and summer months
• Sellers on the market now may be more motivated
• Cooler weather makes it easier to spot things like drafts, heating issues and drainage concerns

For sellers:
• Fall buyers tend to be serious buyers
• Less inventory can mean less competition for your home
• A warm, well-maintained home can show especially well this time of year
