We been hearing a lot about this new breakfast spot in Ward.

is officially our new favorite mountain diner.

Such a cozy vibe with welcoming staff that treat you like a local.

The amount of old photos and articles of Ward, and near by Nederland, displayed could keep anyone entertained while you wait for the next table. There was even an older gentleman (hotel guest, I believe) playing some piano which was icing on the cake.

After breakfast, we were able to head upstairs to the hotel rooms, which have all been renovated and decorated perfectly. You can really feel the history and desire to stay for the nostalgia.

If you still haven’t had a chance to check out the fall leaves, hwy 72 is still stunning, but not for much longer! Check them out and Hotel Columbia ASAP!
