The Boston Vegetarian Food Festival is a great event held at the Reggie Lewis Athletic Center in Roxbury (across the street from the Roxbury Crossing T stop). Don't miss the opportunity to hear from insightful speakers and enjoy free samples from the dozens of vendors!

The Festival is presented by the Boston Vegetarian Society (BVS). All Festival organizers and staff donate their labor, time, and talents.

Thank you to everyone that volunteered and donated baked goods to our bake sale last week. The organization that won was the Maple Farm Sanctuary and we were able to raise $72!

Hi everyone, it's Jaq here!

On Saturday December 6th at the Salvation Army in Lowell, MA, I am volunteering (with the photography company that I work for, Captured In Moments), to take quality family portraits for those who have lost almost everything whether that be from a fire or from a financial situation, medical situation, etc. The project is called Help-Portrait.

If you frequent Boston Brewin Coffee, you might know or recognize Andrew San, he and I both work for Captured in Moments and we will both be volunteering that day.

So what I am asking of you all (if you are able), is a donation for the frames and printing the portraits right there and then for the families. It's going to cost about $750.

Any amount helps $5, $10, $20.
