We are an expert network of retired federal corrections and probation professionals who now dedicate their experience to assist attorneys and defendants on BOP policy. Our network includes former Bureau of Prisons executives, wardens, medical professionals, case managers and Residential Drug Abuse Program coordinators. Prisonology, founded in 2014, provides consulting services on federal criminal justice matters as it relates to federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) policy. Our unique approach of working within the policy of the BOP through interpretation provides a new strategy to help law firms and their clients. Prisonology provides a comprehensive solution for those facing a term of incarceration in the BOP that focuses on the individual defendant and their family. Our experts, retired BOP professionals, have provided declarations and expert testimony. We work with law schools, private attorneys, and federal public defenders on the Incarceration Reduction Amendment Act (IRAA) cases.
