ark was a prosecutor for the first two years of his career. Since then he has been a Defense and Civil Litigation Attorney. Mark is nationally recognized as a Member of The National DUI College of Defense Lawyers. Mark has been serving as the City Attorney for the City of Boonville for 21 years. Mark is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association and the Warrick County Bar association. Mark served as President of the Warrick County Bar Association for 5 years. Brennan M. Phillips graduated from the University of Southern Indiana in 2012 and was a member of the Men's Golf Team. Brennan went on to Graduate from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2015 and began practicing law in October 2016 with Phillips Law, P.C. Robert Phillips graduated from the University of Southern Indiana in 2012. Robert went on to graduate from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2016 and began practicing law in October 2016 with Phillips Law, P.C. is accredited by the BBB (Better Business Bureau) and has received an A+ rating!!

Phillips Law is currently looking for an experienced legal assistant and/or paralegal that will support our attorneys in various legal matters, but will primarily be responsible for managing and administrating the day-to-day tasks of one attorney. The primary duties, functions, and responsibilities of a legal assistant include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Coordinating and communicating legal and administrative matters with office staff, court staff, and other attorney’s offices.
• Preparing and filing legal documents.
• Drafting correspondence as requested.
• Organize and maintain day to day calendaring.
• Performing general office tasks.
• Working as a team to meet time sensitive deadlines.
• Performing general office tasks.
The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required:
• Previous experience as a legal secretary or paralegal REQUIRED.
• Answer phone calls in a professional and responsive manner.
• Must be able to interact effectively and professionally with staff, clients, court staff, and other lawyer’s staff members.
• Proactive, self-starter who is able to plan, organize and complete work with minimal supervision.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment and the ability to
respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and tight
timelines.
• Superior organization skills and detail oriented.
• Capable of managing calendars, scheduling court dates, and scheduling conference calls.
• Manage incoming and outgoing electronic correspondence and paper mail.
• Oversee and manage deadlines with ongoing cases.
• Experience with dictation.
• Ability to write clearly and communicate well, both verbally
and in writing.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Sound and mature judgment on the prioritization of tasks.
