Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we exceeded our GoFundMe goal for a new Little Free Pantry box—and our new pantry has officially been ordered! 🥳📦

We are so incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, shared our fundraiser, or simply helped spread the word. Every contribution helped make this possible, and we couldn’t have done it without you!

Our new, larger, weather-resistant pantry will provide more space and better protection for the food, hygiene items, and basic supplies our neighbors rely on—especially as we head into the winter months. 🥫🧤❤️

And because we exceeded our goal, the additional funds will go directly toward keeping the pantry stocked with food, hygiene items, and other essentials.

🐾 Happy World Animal Day from our favorite 8-pound coworker! 🐾

Meet Emmie Lou—the tiniest member of the 828 Real Estate team and somehow one of the biggest personalities in the office. 😂❤️

She may only weigh 8 lbs., but she brings plenty of love, entertainment, and occasional workplace distractions to our day!

Today, we’re celebrating all the animals who make our lives a little happier, our homes a little cozier, and our days a whole lot more fun. 🐶🐱🐴🐾

Our Little Free Pantry outside the 828 Real Estate office has become a practical way to help neighbors find food and basic supplies, especially in our walkable downtown community during winter. But the small metal box is rusting, the door gets stuck partially open, and rain can reach the donated items inside.

We’re raising funds for a larger, sustainable, weather-resistant metal container, similar to a newspaper vending machine. This customizable box (shown below) would be the perfect replacement and would keep supplies dry and secure while giving us more room for food and hygiene items. Any funds beyond the new box will go directly toward those pantry supplies (see the pantry wishlist in our bio).
