Depositions and COVID-19:

Depositions can still occur while maintaining social distancing. In an effort to keep the legal community and our court reporters healthy and safe, and to try and keep business moving along as normal as possible, M & M Court Reporting Service is waiving all remote videoconferencing fees until further notice. While attending the recent Idaho Association of Defense Counsel Annual Meeting in Sun Valley, Jeff joined attorneys Kent Day, Tom High, and Mike Moore on the golf course. Although their scores tied for 1st in the competition, they graciously "allowed" the other team to win the tie breaker, and accepted the 2nd place prize!

Today marks the end of an era: Debby and Joe Roden are retiring from M&M!

Debby had managed M&M continuously since 1972, and under her leadership M&M has grown and prospered to become the largest court reporting agency in the state of Idaho. Joe started reporting for M&M in the late 70s and has been around in one capacity or another ever since. Needless to say, we will all miss seeing them around every day, but they will still remain a part of our M&M family!

Since Deb has always told us that change is good, we are all looking forward to the next chapter in the life of M&M! Jeff and Susan have been in-office for the past month, learning all of the ins-and-outs, and are ready to officially take over, beginning on September 1. You can expect the same great service as always, since Deb has taught us all well! As Jeff said just this morning, the only thing that is changing is our tax ID number!

Cheryl Smith will continue at our sister office in Cda, doing the same wonderful job that she has always done, serving the northern portion of the state.

Onward we go!!

BIG NEWS!
For those of you who haven’t yet heard, Deb and Joe are retiring after being at the helm of M&M for over 40 years! We wish them both many grand adventures, as those that know them know it will not be a “sedentary” retirement!

M&M will now be under the management of Jeff and Susan LaMar, faces well known to those of us here at the office. Many of you are familiar with Jeff, as he has been reporting for M&M for the past eight years. Susan is also a reporter, although she has been busy raising their three lovely daughters in the past few years. Two of the girls are still at home and entering their teen years, so we expect to see them working at M&M one of these days as well!

While we will all miss Deb and Joe very much, we all know that change is an important part of life, and are very excited with the changes to come, and know that Jeff and Susan will continue to maintain the high level of service for which M&M is known.

M&M will be moving from our current location to a downtown office within the next few months, and we will give you more information on that once the details are resolved.
