It was a great weekend celebrating with everyone and enjoying everything that makes the Balloon Festival such a special event.

A big thank you to the Washington Parish Balloon Festival and everyone who works hard each year to make this event possible. Events like these don't happen without a tremendous amount of effort behind the scenes.

Thank you as well to everyone who stopped by our tent and showed their support throughout the weekend. We can't wait to see everyone again next year—and we'll be sure to bring more fans to help keep everyone cool in the summer heat!

From Bogalusa to Wall Street

Congratulations to George Arata on his recent graduation from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.

While at Tulane, George was a three-year running back for the Green Wave football team. He was also a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity, winner of the Aaron Selber Hedge Fund Competition, and selected for the Darwin Fenner Management Fund course.

George has accepted a position with Sculptor Capital in New York, New York, where he will reside after the summer.

Congratulations, George, on this outstanding accomplishment. We wish you continued success in this exciting new chapter.

Bicycles are a much more common sight on our roads and highways during the warmer months. National Bicycle Safety Month is a reminder that both cyclists and drivers play a role in keeping roads safe.
