The Medical Records Clerk will be responsible for:
- Organizing and maintaining medical records
- Retrieving and reviewing medical information
- Ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of records
- Assisting legal teams in compiling necessary documentation for cases
- Communicating with medical providers and other stakeholders to obtain essential documentation
Key qualifications include:
- Proficiency in maintaining, organizing, and retrieving medical records with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality
- Experience in data entry, record management systems, and general administrative tasks
- Strong communication skills for interaction with medical providers and other professionals
- Understanding of medical terminologies and healthcare documentation
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining strict confidentiality
- Prior experience as a medical records clerk or in a related position is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in health information management are advantageous.
