It's a sad day when my passion to help others, turns into heartbreak for others...90 year old homeowner abused by Universal Property & Casualty Insurance Company!!

Florida based Universal Property & Casualty Insurance Company leaves 90 year old Elderly Homeowner with an unresolved claim, with mold contamination, damaged carpet trip hazards, unfinished repairs and mounting damage repair bills still unpaid. Why? Maybe because Universal hires insurance adjusters who ARE NOT LICENSED to adjust claims!!! Adding insult to injury, the unlicensed adjuster unethically suggests the 90 year old elderly homeowner should accept less than 30 cents on the dollar for his damages, all in violation of Florida adjuster licensure statutory rules and regulations.

Why should you pay 100% of the premium to Universal, if the Universal doesn’t want to make sure they hire properly licensed staff to adjust your claim, and doesn’t want to pay the full amount of your damages when you have a claim?

A recent OPAGGA (Office of Program and Policy Analysis & Government Accountability) study in the State of Florida showed that public adjusters settle property insurance claims for more than 7 times the monetary compensation as insurance company adjusters would offer without a Public Insurance Adjuster involved (www.oppaga.state.fl.us).

What is the advantage of using a Public Insurance Adjuster?
Public adjusters file the claim on the policyholder’s behalf and negotiate a satisfactory settlement with the insurer. Public adjusters are the only kind of adjuster that works executively for you. In the process of filing your claim, you will probably encounter different types of adjusters.
• A Company Adjuster, often called the “insurance adjuster”, works for, and is employed by the insurance company.
• An Independent Adjuster also works for the insurance company, but are independent agents. They can work for multiple insurance companies.
• A Public Insurance Adjuster works only for you, the policyholder.
