Are you thinking about selling your home this year? First, congrats! That’s a huge step!

However, there’s also no doubt that selling a home can feel just as intimidating buying a home, so to help ease whatever anticipation you may be feeling, here are 3 easy tips to set you up for the best success:

✅ Don’t price your home too high. This is a common mistake that sellers make because they think it will bring them more profit. If your home is priced too high for your area, though, you run the risk of no one being interested and consequently, being on the market for too long.

✅ Stage your home. Read that again! Staging your home is going to be KEY for making a great impression on your home buyers. Work with a professional stager and your real estate agent to do this!

✅ Hire a real estate agent. They have the connections, networks, and knowledge to help you get the most out of your sale.

Let’s play a game of true or false, but real estate style! What do you think of this statement:

Scrolling Zillow saves you time and money.

While many sellers want to go by the "Zestimate" they see; these are hardly accurate as they don't take into consideration all the unique features of YOUR home.

✅ Check your credit report and make sure it’s within an acceptable range (generally, that’s 650 and higher)

✅ Fix any mistakes on the report

✅ Improve your credit score by paying your bills, outstanding loans, and avoiding making large purchases

✅ Lower your debt-to-income ratio

✅ Go large with your down payment for long-term payoff

🏫 Foram analisadas áreas como matrícula pré-escolar de menores de cinco anos, notas de matemática e leitura, disponibilidade de faculdades, taxas de graduação, mensalidades e dívidas estudantis da graduação. Os rankings levam em conta ainda a qualidade da assistência médica, educação e infraestrutura em todos os estados, bem como suas economias e qualidade de vida.

Os distritos escolares da Flórida permanecem entre os maiores do país. Mas, segundo o estudo, o estado foi classificado em 27º lugar quando se trata da qualidade do ensino pré-escolar ao médio. No ensino fundamental, um quesito citado é o National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) em Matemática que foi de 283 a média nacional, mas a Flórida alcançou somente 279 entre alunos do 8° ano, colocando o estado em 34° lugar. No ensino médio, um dos quesitos apontados é a média menor do que a nacional para calouros (freshman) que terminam a escola pública em 4 anos: 80.7% contra 84.1% nacional, colocando o estado em 36° no ranking.
