Meet Ryan Butler, a founding partner of our firm! 🌟 A proud graduate of The Citadel, Ryan earned his B.S. in 1996 and his MBA in 1999, both in Business Administration. After completing his graduate studies, Ryan worked for 8 years at Blackbaud, a leading software company in Charleston, where he gained valuable experience as a Customer Service Representative and Manager.
In 2005, Ryan made a bold career shift and pursued a law degree at the Charleston School of Law, earning his Juris Doctorate in 2009. He started his legal career as a solo practitioner before joining forces with Andrew College in 2011 to form Butler & College. Since then, the firm has grown from a small practice with 3 offices and 6 employees to a thriving business with over 40 employees and 10 offices across three states (NC, SC, and GA).
Ryan is married to Mary Butler, and together they have three children: Stevie, Mary Alice, and Harris. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, traveling, boating, and coaching baseball. With his extensive experience and unwavering commitment to customer service, Ryan continues to lead the firm with passion and dedication. ⚖️
