If you love a law enforcement officer, you know things most people don't:

* You know what it's like to wait up.
* You know what it's like to hear them come home quiet.
* You know what it's like to ask,"Are you okay?" and get "I'm fine" — when you can tell they're not.

Loving someone who carries this weight isn't easy. And it's not on you to carry it alone, either. COPLine isn't only for officers. It's also for their spouses, parents, siblings, and adult children — anyone connected to law enforcement who needs someone who understands.

Naloxone fits in a glove compartment. A purse. A backpack. A medicine cabinet. You don't have to be a paramedic, a police officer, or a nurse to carry it. Everyday people are choosing to carry naloxone.

Why? Because overdoses don't only happen to "other people." They happen at home. At work. At the gas station. On the side of the road. And the person nearest by — the person who could save a life — might be you.
