A Blue Springs native, Vanessa earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California before receiving her law degree from the University of Missouri School of Law.

Vanessa has completed several respected professional programs, including the Missouri Bar Leadership Academy, Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association’s Leadership Academy, and the Ross T. Roberts Trial Academy. She has also served in numerous professional and community leadership roles, including with Rotary International and the Eastern Jackson County Bar Association.
