In science, entropy is the natural pull from order to disorder. It explains why a freshly organized pantry ends up a mess again in no time. We can’t stop entropy, but we can outsmart it with small, repeatable habits. Trust me, I know. For much of my life, I was far from neat and tidy. I started by making my bed every day. It’s a daily reset that builds momentum. For you, it could be something else. Maybe spend two minutes each night resetting one spot: clear the counter, fold a blanket, sort the mail. It’s the incremental changes in behavior that matter most. When you organize, choose systems you’re willing to maintain because order isn’t a one-time win, it’s a rhythm.
