The Bismarck-Mayors’ Committee for People with Disabilities is awarding up to five $1,000 scholarships to students with disabilities pursuing post-secondary education. Awards are contingent on available funding, collected through handicap parking violations in Bismarck and Mandan.

For more information and to receive the application form for the scholarships, visit https://bismarcknd.gov/DocumentCenter/View/1185/Scholarship-Information-and-Application-PDF and return it to the committee no later than April 28. A former applicant can reapply if they are 1) maintaining 12 hours minimum per semester; 2) complete and turn in the application by the April 28 deadline; and 3) explain to the committee how reapplying for the scholarship will help reach your career/educational goals.
