Founded over 150 years ago, Bradley’s Birmingham office retains the tradition of Southern hospitality even as the firm has grown into a global legal force. Bradley’s first and largest office was founded in 1870 in Elyton, Alabama, before eventually moving to the newly established city of Birmingham in 1871. Home to a number of legal trailblazers, the firm’s ranks have included founding partner Joh

n P. Tillman, who served as the first president of the Birmingham Bar Association in 1885 and as president of the Alabama Bar Association from 1897 to 1898, and Ellene Winn, who in 1958 became one of the first female partners in a major law firm in the Southeast. The Birmingham office currently supports more than 100 charitable organizations across central Alabama. In 2022, the office launched the Black Small Business and Nonprofit Community Clinic, a joint project of Bradley and Legal Services Alabama (LSA), to provide accessible and affordable business-oriented legal services to local Black small businesses and nonprofits across the Magic City.

We’re excited to share that our Jackson office continues to grow with the addition of five new partners: Tax and Trusts & Estates partner Clark Luke and Real Estate and Banking & Financial Services partners Ben Williams, Roger Williams, Molly Moody, and Ben Ford.

Each brings deep experience in their respective areas, from estate planning and finance to real estate development and complex transactions. Their arrival strengthens the work we’re able to do for clients across Mississippi and the region.

Bradley’s Jackson office was established in 2001 as our first expansion outside Alabama. Today, it’s home to more than 40 attorneys and continues to play an important role in our litigation and corporate work across the state.

110 summer associates from 37 law schools in nine offices – Bradley’s 2026 Summer Associate Programs is underway.

This year, law students join Bradley in Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, Jackson, Nashville, Tampa, Birmingham, and Huntsville, where they will spend the summer working alongside attorneys and teams, gaining hands-on experience, and exploring a range of practice areas.

We look forward to the months ahead as this class builds meaningful connections, deepens its understanding of client service, and contributes to Bradley’s collaborative culture.

Designed for contractors navigating federal, state, and local procurement, the blog delivers timely updates and practical insights on bid protests, claims, cost and pricing, FAR guidance, cybersecurity and data rights, compliance, and other key regulatory issues.

“We have a deeply creative and sophisticated team of government contracts attorneys who understand that change is the one constant in government contracts work,” said partner and co-leader of Bradley’s Government Contracts Practice Group Aron C. Our Atlanta office continues to grow with the addition of Real Estate partner Josh Portnoy.

Josh joins the Real Estate Practice Group, bringing experience in acquisitions, development, and financing of complex commercial projects. He comes to Bradley from Hatteras Sky, where he served as general counsel and supported hospitality and multifamily developments nationwide across the full project lifecycle, from early diligence through construction, operations, and financing.

He also brings nearly a decade of private practice experience focused on complex commercial litigation, adding a practical, solutions-focused perspective to his real estate work.

Since opening in 2023, Bradley’s Atlanta office has grown to more than 70 attorneys and continues to expand across key practices, including real estate, corporate and securities, litigation, construction, labor and employment, financial services, and intellectual property.

Welcome to Bradley, Kelly Rentzel!

We’re pleased to welcome Kelly to Bradley’s Dallas office, where she joins as counsel in our Banking & Financial Services Practice Group.

Kelly brings deep in-house experience with publicly traded companies and financial institutions, including prior general counsel roles for regional banks and a national homebuilder. Her experience includes corporate governance, capital markets support, and complex transactions, including guiding organizations through periods of significant growth and a company sale.

Her addition reflects Bradley’s continued investment in Dallas and across Texas. Since opening our Dallas office in 2019, the firm has continued to grow across key practice areas and now supports more than 150 attorneys licensed in Texas.
