Big hats. Fast horses. One of our favorite traditions.

While the races run today, our mission doesn’t change—advocating for the most vulnerable and pursuing accountability where it matters most.

Today is World Autism Awareness Day.

Awareness matters—but it is only the beginning.

Every child deserves to be safe, respected, and protected. Too often, families place their trust in systems that fail them.

In my practice, I represent children with autism and their families in cases involving abuse, neglect, and institutional failures. These cases are difficult—but they are necessary to bring accountability and protect others.

If you or someone you know needs help, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Children are being harmed in youth residential facilities.

I represent children and families in cases involving abuse, neglect, and dangerous conditions in these programs. These are kids sent there for help—and too often, they are not protected.

This op-ed by Paris Hilton and Alabama lawmakers calls for stronger oversight and real accountability to protect children in these programs.

It has to happen.

This is happening here—not somewhere else. Right here in Alabama.

I have handled cases involving abuse, neglect, and worse in youth residential facilities. Children are sent to these programs for help, and too often, they are not protected.

This op-ed by Paris Hilton and Alabama lawmakers shines a light on these issues and why reform matters.

If we don’t fix this, more children are going to be hurt.

In Alabama, we believe children should be protected and families deserve transparency when they entrust others with their care. When the state sets standards for facilities responsible for vulnerable youth, those standards must mean something. Laws written to safeguard children must be more than wor...

It was an honor to stand with one of my former clients, a survivor of the troubled teen industry, at the Alabama Statehouse to support SB 336, the Child Safety and Accountability Act.

Thank you to my good friend Senator Will Barfoot for his leadership on this bill and for making sure we had the opportunity to speak directly with other senators and share these stories firsthand.

Alabama has laws in place to protect children. This bill is about making sure those laws actually mean something.
