Voted today at the new Irondale Public Library and loved seeing it! πŸ˜πŸ’―πŸ‘

I spent so many hours at the old Irondale library growing up, so it was really special to see this beautiful new space for the community. Big kudos to everyone who helped make this happen! πŸ‘βœ¨

Good Friday with Jesus ✝️

Before the sun rose, Jesus stood in the darkness. Through the night, He had been arrested, questioned, and denied. By early morning, He was taken before the religious leaders, then sent to Pontius Pilate.

By early morning, the crowd gathered. Accusations were shouted. Though Pilate found no fault in Him, the voices grew louder: β€œCrucify Him.”

Jesus was beaten, mocked, and crowned with thorns. Then, carrying His cross, He began the walk to Golgotha.

Jesus was then nailed to the cross. As He hung there, He spoke words of forgiveness:
β€œFather, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”

By midday, darkness covered the land. For hours, Jesus suffered, yet continued to speak ~ offering comfort, fulfilling prophecy.

During His final moments, Jesus cried out, β€œIt is finished.”
Then He gave up His spirit.

At that very moment, the temple veil was torn in two, from top to bottom, signifying that the barrier between God and humanity had been removed.

That afternoon, Jesus’ body was taken down and placed in a borrowed tomb. A stone was rolled into place. The day ended in silence, grief, and waiting.

Today I visited a client in assisted living.

She's not comfortable getting out to the city, and asked me to visit. No problem πŸ‘ My pleasure ❀️

If my clients can’t come to me =
I go to them. πŸ’―πŸ’ƒ

Every now and then, something happens that stops you for a moment.

This week, a client gave me a Bible as a gift.

We spend so much time in this profession discussing wills, trusts, beneficiaries, tax strategy. Very important work, yes. But underneath all of it are conversations about values, faith, family, and what truly matters when someone is no longer here.

This gift wasn’t expected, and it certainly wasn’t necessary. But it meant more than I can fully express.

It was a reminder that estate planning isn’t just about documents. It’s about trust ~ in every sense of the word.

I am incredibly grateful for the families who allow me to walk alongside them in such personal moments. πŸ™βœοΈ
