Last Friday, Huie partner Will Thompson attended the PLAC Future Leaders Mock Trial in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The annual program brought together Future Leaders, corporate counsel, and senior mentors for a hands-on mock trial focused on an ADAS case study. Participants prepared and presented direct and cross-examinations of Exponent "Next Gen" scientists before the Honorable Gloria M. Navarro of the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada.

Congratulations to Will, PLAC, and all the participants on a successful event and an outstanding learning experience!

Last week, Huie attorneys Jennifer Egbe, Maggie Donlon, Jacob Denney, and Maggie Waldrop participated in the ADLA 2026 Bibb Allen Memorial Trial Academy, a hands-on program focused on developing and strengthening trial advocacy skills. For the first time, the program was held at the Hugo L. Black United States Courthouse in Birmingham.

Jennifer, a faculty member, presented on "Cross Examination, Impeachment & Redirect." We're honored to have our attorneys both contributing to and learning from programs that support the legal profession.
