Although the August 10, 2024, deadline means Blalock LLC will no longer be able to accept new clients for filing new Camp Lejune Justice Act (CLJA) claims with the Department of Navy, we remain committed to assisting unrepresented claimants who now require legal assistance with the crucial next steps of litigation in the Eastern District of North Carolina.

After submitting your CLJA claim to the Department of the Navy, the government has up to six months to respond. If your CLJA claim is denied or no decision is made within this period, you should file a lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina within 180 days.
