This is another partial settlement of $2 million policy limits on this case, in addition to the previous $31 million partial settlement with the other defendants. Our client drowned at 12 years old when her hair got caught in a defective drain cover. This defendant is a pool cleaning company that failed to effectively maintain the drain cover. Still a couple of defendants left, more justice to come!⁠

Our client was grinding asphalt in a closed lane when a speeding car swerved to avoid a trench plate pushed into the open lane and struck him, causing serious injuries. The driver carried minimal coverage, and the other defendants blamed each other. We were hit with MSJs from everyone and fought hard. Ultimately, we reached a settlement among all involved.⁠
