Twilight Photography is very popular in the Real Estate Industry. It consists in taking -usually- exterior images of the listing between 15 minutes prior to sunset and 15 minutes after. Since this kind of photo shoot is very time sensitive, it is extremely important to plan ahead with all involved parties (agent, seller and photographer) to make sure the photos are taken in the optimal time.

Some properties will look better within the 15 minutes prior to sunset, while some others look better within the 15 minutes after. It all depends on the geographic position of the house.

For instance, the perfect time to take the twilight photo of this home in Long Beach, was in the 15 minutes after the sunset, and the reason is because the home is facing west, and direct sun would create some unattractive reflections.
