Six months. A few homes that got away. Some VERY optimistic sellers. And one creepy doll that apparently came with the real estate. 😂🪆
This homebuying adventure had a little bit of everything.
We found homes Jennie liked. We put together great offers. And a few times, even with a strong offer, we missed out. That part is tough. You start picturing yourself living somewhere, only to find out someone else is getting the keys.
Then there were the homes where the seller’s price said “luxury castle”… but the actual house said “hobby hut.” 👑🛖🤣
Listen, I appreciate confidence. But some of those asking prices deserved their own comedy special.
And the things we saw along the way? Let’s just say you learn a lot about people by walking through their houses. Sometimes more than you ever needed to know. 😂
Which brings us to THE DOLL.
You know how some homes include the refrigerator, washer, and dryer? Well, apparently, this one included a tiny roommate with an unsettling stare. And yes… that creepy doll ended up staying with the house. Somebody please keep an eye on her. Preferably without making eye contact. 👀🪆
Between the laughs, the unusual discoveries, and the disappointments, my message stayed the same: keep going. We’ll work through it. This will come together.
That’s easy to say. After months of searching, it’s harder to keep believing. But she kept going.
And then we found a home with the thing that caught her heart: character. ❤️🏡
After everything we’d seen, all the offers, and all the waiting, a few days ago we finally sat down at the closing table.
And the joy of it actually happening? That was the best part of the entire six months.
The keys were hers. The home was hers.
Thank you for trusting me through this whole adventure. We’ve got enough material for a house-hunting sitcom, but getting to celebrate this moment with you was the ending I’d been looking forward to.
Now you get to make that home yours, settle in, and enjoy what we spent more than six months working toward.
And if that doll changes rooms by herself… call somebody else. My expertise has limits. 😂👻
Congratulations, Jennie! Here’s to your new
