We are proud to welcome attorney Jacob Roth to KingSpry! Jacob focuses his practice in education and municipal law. He previously served as a Summer Legal Intern with the firm, where he assisted attorneys representing institutional and individual clients in matters involving education, special education, municipal law, investigations, and litigation.
Jacob brings a strong public-sector perspective to his legal work. Since 2022, he has served as a Township Commissioner for South Whitehall Township, where he helps oversee municipal governance for a community of approximately 21,000 residents. Unanimously selected as the Board’s President in January 2026, he assists township staff in setting strategic direction with respect to the budget, land use regulations, public safety, transparency, infrastructure and historic preservation.
Before joining the firm, Jacob gained experience through a judicial externship with the Honorable Megan McCarthy King of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania and an internship with the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office. His background also includes work with the U.S. House of Representatives, where he assisted Pennsylvania municipalities with federal infrastructure and broadband grant applications.
He earned his J.D. from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where he participated in moot court and served on the Murphy Family Endowed Moot Court Board. In March of 2026, he placed third in the Federal Bar Association’s Thurgood Marshall Memorial Moot Competition in Washington, D.C. where he argued in front of distinguished panels of practitioners and jurists.
He earned his B.A., summa cm laude, in Political Science from The Pennsylvania State University’s Schreyer Honors College.
