Brian J. Taylor is a partner with KingSpry, concentrating his practice in the areas of litigation, alternative dispute resolution, education and employment law. Chair of the firm’s Investigations and Compliance Services Team, Brian is a certified Title IX investigator through SUNY’s Student Conduct Institute, and regularly conducts internal investigations for clients on Title IX, employment discrimination and workplace disputes including harassment, retaliation and breaches of codes of conduct and other policies.

Brian serves as general counsel, assistant solicitor and trial counsel for numerous school districts, intermediate units, colleges and universities. He also is a member of the Office of the Executive Vice President of Princeton University. He is an arbitrator for Chester County Court of Common Pleas, and an adjunct professor of law at Eastern and Widener Universities where he has twice been nominated as Teacher of the Year.

He earned his Juris Doctorate from Temple University School of Law. He holds a B.A. in political science and economics from Franklin & Marshall College, and also completed a graduate level management program at the Wharton School of Business.

KingSpry proudly welcomes back Lauren Harrison as a legal intern with the firm for the summer. Lauren has worked with KingSpry since 2022, previously as a Paralegal Intern and Paralegal.

A Lehigh Valley native and proud graduate of Bangor Area High School, Lauren is a rising 2L at Widener University Commonwealth Law School.

“We are thrilled to welcome Lauren back this summer,” says partner Avery Smith who supervised Lauren as a paralegal intern and paralegal on her team. “We are looking forward to the energy and perspective she will bring to KingSpry.”

In her first year of law school, Lauren was recognized on Widener’s Dean’s List for her academic achievement and earned CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in multiple doctrinal courses. She served on the Dean’s Student Advisory Council, where she collaborated with the Dean of Widener Law Commonwealth and fellow law students to share insights on student life, curriculum, student organizations, events, and more.

Lauren earned her Associate in Applied Sciences Degree in Paralegal Studies from Northampton Community College and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from East Stroudsburg University.

“KingSpry has created many innovative ways over the years to help our associates grow and succeed,” says KingSpry Partner and Associate Committee Chair Karley Biggs Sebia. “To expand upon that commitment, we offer promising law students the opportunity to join us for the summer, immerse themselves in how we do things, our best practices.
