Are you an organized and responsible professional looking to build your career in law firm management?

Raju Law is looking for a Trainee Assistant Branch Manager to support the daily operations of our New York branch. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop leadership and management skills while working closely with attorneys, paralegals, case managers, and firm leadership in a fast-paced immigration law firm.

NOTE: Fluent Spanish is mandatory for this position.

📍 Location: 160-01 Hillside Avenue, Jamaica, NY 11432

🕒 Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week) | In-Person

📌 What You'll Do

🔸Branch Operations Management

• Oversee daily branch operations to ensure efficient and professional office management

• Coordinate client consultations, appointments, hearings, and attorney schedules

• Maintain and audit the firm's case management system for accuracy and timely documentation

• Identify operational improvements and report recommendations to leadership

• Ensure compliance with firm policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

🔸Client Service Oversight

• Ensure clients receive timely, professional, and compassionate service throughout their cases

• Monitor client communication standards, including timely responses and case updates

• Resolve escalated client concerns with professionalism and empathy

• Oversee accurate and consistent client intake and onboarding

• Maintain strict client confidentiality at all times

🔸Case Management Support

• Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and case managers to ensure all case deadlines are met

• Track USCIS notices, filing deadlines, RFEs, and appointments

• Immediately report any at-risk deadlines to supervising attorneys and branch leadership

• Review client communications and case filings for quality and accuracy

• Maintain organized digital and physical case files

🔸Administrative and Financial Operations

• Manage office administration, vendor coordination, and office maintenance

• Track branch expenses and assist with budget reporting

• Process invoices, payments, and billing records accurately

• Prepare operational and performance reports for senior leadership

• Support branch banking operations

🔸Business Development Support

• Assist with branch-level business development initiatives

• Help organize community outreach events, seminars, and promotional activities

• Support client retention through excellent service and relationship management

• Represent the firm professionally in all external interactions

🔸Compliance and Confidentiality

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, firm policies, and ethical standards

• Maintain the confidentiality of all client and firm information

• Report compliance or data security concerns to firm leadership

• Support staff compliance with confidentiality requirements

📌 Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline

• Candidates who currently have valid OPT status will be given preference

• Fluent in Spanish is mandatory

• Fluent in English

• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

• Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented

When applying for an EB-2 Green Card, simply showing that you worked for five years is often not enough.

USCIS looks for progressive experience, meaning your career has grown over time. This could include increased responsibilities, more complex projects, leadership roles, technical expertise, decision-making authority, or supervisory duties.

Has your priority date become current? That is an important milestone in your Green Card journey.

When your priority date is current under the applicable Visa Bulletin chart, an immigrant visa number may be available for your case. This allows your Form I-485 to move forward toward final adjudication.

USCIS will then review your application to confirm that you meet the requirements for adjustment of status. The review covers your underlying petition and your eligibility for adjustment. USCIS will also consider whether you meet the applicable admissibility and medical requirements.

For employment-based applicants, additional requirements may apply depending on the category and circumstances of the case.
Being current does not mean approval happens automatically. It means your case has reached an important stage where USCIS can proceed with its review.

The U.S. Department of State has confirmed that the immigrant visa issuance pause affecting nationals of 75 countries is no longer in effect as of August 21, 2026, following a federal court order. The pause, which began on January 21, 2026, had affected immigrant visa applicants from the countries listed below.

The affected countries were Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Antigua and Barbuda, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belarus, Belize, Bhutan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Burma, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Colombia, Côte d’Ivoire, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Dominica, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Fiji, The Gambia, Georgia, Ghana, Grenada, Guatemala, Guinea, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Jamaica, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kuwait, Kyrgyz Republic, Laos, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Morocco, Nepal, Nicaragua, Nigeria, North Macedonia, Pakistan, Republic of the Congo, Russia, Rwanda, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Tanzania, Thailand, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, and Yemen.
