Visitation Modifications, Guardianship of Minor Children, Divorce, Paternity, Adoption, Step-Parent Adoption, and Juvenile/Child Law. Upon graduating from the University of Arkansas School of Law, alongside her husband, Stuart Hindmarsh (Kutak Rock, LLP), Hadley began work at a Rogers-based law firm gaining experience in civil litigation, personal injury, mineral rights, i
ntellectual property, and family law. In the fall of 2009, Hadley completed the additional training necessary to become a Certified Attorney Ad Litem and became qualified to represent minor children in domestic relations matters (divorce, custody, visitation, paternity) as well as guardianship and adoption cases. Then, on November 1, 2010, Hadley opened the doors to The Hindmarsh Law Firm, PA and began focusing her practice on family law. Hadley's goal was to provide personal service with professional results and help her clients make reasonable, informed decisions during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. Soon after opening her law firm, Hadley received her first court appointment as an Attorney Ad Litem. Since late 2010, Hadley has represented the best interests of hundreds of children in Arkansas. In order to maintain & improve her advocacy skills, legal insight, and understanding of important trends and developments in high conflict custody litigation & the best interests of court-involved children, Hadley has dedicated personal and professional time to attending continuing education courses taught by lawyers, mental health professionals, social workers, education specialists, and other experts. In fact, it was Hadley's attendance at the 2013 American Bar Association's National Conference on Children & The Law: "Lawyers as Partners for Family Well-Being" that inspired her decision to focus on child-centered family law advocacy. Hadley has also presented and taught continuing education courses for attorneys, special education teachers and school administrators, and other school personnel in Arkansas and Tennessee. She has also presented the 90-minute opening session of the annual Domestic Relations & Probate Attorney Ad Litem Qualification Training, provided by the Juvenile Division of the Arkansas Administrative Office of the Court since 2016 and has presented continuing legal education (CLE) related to ad litem work and family law at sessions sponsored by the Arkansas Bar Association (Annual Convention & the "Best Of CLE"), the Pulaski County Bar Association ("Last Chance CLE"), the Sebastian County Bar Association, the Benton County Bar Association, the Washington County Bar Association, the W.B. Putnam American Inn of Court, the University of Arkansas School of Law, and the National Business Institute. Today, Hadley's primary practice is dedicated to serving the needs of court-involved children while maintaining a small, effective practice representing parents and grandparents in high conflict custody, visitation, guardianship, and adoption matters. In addition to representing children in high conflict custody matters, Hadley represents at-risk adolescents and teens in juvenile court "FINS" proceedings. These Family In Need of Services cases focus on addressing underlying factors related to mental health concerns, substance use, truancy, dysfunctional family dynamics, poor parenting skills & insight, maladaptive behaviors, and a host of other issues impacting the development, academic achievement, stability, and college/workforce readiness of these at-risk kids. Hadley is an attorney who listens. She offers her client's advice and goal-oriented suggestions that are influenced & informed by her own relevant experiences, education, and practice in family law earned over the last 13 years. While Hadley does believe that out-of-court solutions through negotiations, mediations, and settlement conferences should be thoughtfully considered and pursued in virtually every high conflict custody case, there are times when these conflicts must be resolved by the judge at trial. When trials are necessary to resolve family conflicts, Hadley is a strong, effective advocate for the adults and children she represents.
