The last month has been a blur; eternally grateful, happy, and honestly a little overwhelmed. It’s been a whirlwind in the best way!
It’s all about the people, connections, and experiences. That’s where the real winning and genuine fulfillment is for me.
Been in the thick of it: early mornings, late nights, loooong days. The current house has been an exciting project. I think we are at 12 broken pipes… and counting. We’re hustling & tossing around the idea of refinancing it into a rental before September.
On the real estate front: I’ve had 4 transactions terminate this year, not a negative, just a reflection of today’s market and a reminder that things shift. That said, I’ve closed 20 deals in 2025 so far, have 4 parties under contract, and 2 very stubborn listings still looking for the right buyer. 👀
The Bend market is showing its true colors, and like always, it’s driven by lifestyle. Demand is still here, even if some buyers are pausing. The beauty? Buyers today aren’t battling in bidding wars like before. Many are landing homes under list price with seller credits to help make it all work.
In this kind of market, having a full-time agent who lives and breathes real estate (and isn’t just dabbling on the weekends) matters more than ever. The contracts are adjusting to the rules, the market is still moving (off market and on market), the importance of working with someone who’s in the know is crucial.
Summer’s market took her sweet time showing up… but she’s here now. Let’s GO. ☀️
