Older homes have character—and sometimes, outlets with only two slots. 🏠🔌

So, what’s the story with ungrounded outlets? Here’s a quick rundown:

🔎 Three slots don’t guarantee a ground. An outlet may have been replaced without updating the wiring behind it.

⚡ GFCI protection can help reduce shock risk, but it doesn’t magically add a ground wire.

💻 Surge protectors have limitations. Some may not protect your electronics as intended without a ground.

🛠️ Upgrades aren’t one-size-fits-all. The wiring’s condition and what buyers plan to plug in help guide the conversation.

Louisville, you were good to us! 🥃📸

A little training, a little team building, a little exploring, and a whole lot of laughs with the Erie crew.

We packed a lot into a few days, learned some new things, enjoyed some great food and drinks, and most importantly, got to spend time together outside of our usual day-to-day.

We’re lucky to have a crew that works hard, keeps learning, and genuinely enjoys being together. Trips like this make our team stronger, and we’re bringing that energy right back home with us. ❤️

Louisville, here we come! 🚐🎉

Starting tomorrow, the whole Erie crew will be away for team training through October 1.

We’ll be keeping an eye on emails, texts and voicemails, and our backup call center will be available to answer calls, take messages and help with scheduling requests.

We may be a little slower to respond while we’re learning, but we promise we’re not ignoring you! We’ll return your message as soon as we can.

Just a little heads-up before the Erie crew hits the road! 🚐

Our inspectors and scheduling squad will be in Louisville for team training September 28–October 1. We’ll still be monitoring emails, texts and voicemails, and our backup call center will be answering calls, taking messages and helping with scheduling requests.

Responses may take a little longer than usual, but we’ll get back to you as soon as we can!
