Some consider me to be a “Main-e-ack”! But only because I am originally from the great state of Maine. Yes, I may be a fan of practical jokes.

Making sure you achieve all your real estate goals, by helping you to navigate through the potentially complicated and stressful process of selling or purchasing of real estate. I was born into a military family, so I am no stranger to the whole moving process. In fact, I lived in eight different states before moving away to college. It’s no doubt, my father’s career forced me to master the art of making new friends at a very early age. Being the new kid on the block throughout my childhood and constantly having to make new friends both in a new neighborhood, as well as at a new school, has definitely helped mold me into the strong relationship- type salesperson I am today. I take great pride in really getting to know and understand my customer’s, their needs, wants and dreams. And I am not afraid to take ownership in helping them accomplish their biggest real estate goals. I have lived here in Pinellas County, FL since 1981 and have developed a huge knowledge of Florida’s Suncoast. This plus my 38+ years of sales and negotiation experience gives me a huge advantage over most Realtors in our area. Although I have enjoyed a great sales career, it was my lifelong interest and love for real estate that eventually brought me to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. I chose Berkshire Hathaway because of their flawless reputation and World-Wide reach, but I quickly realized that their endless resources were just one of the reasons I made it into the “Million Dollar Club” within my first six months as a Realtor. My given name is Richard, but people have tagged me with several nicknames over the years. i.e., Rick, Ricky, Rich, RG, Elvis and Boomer, but my family and closest friends simply call me “Tricky”. Why Builders May Be More Motivated To Sell Than Homeowners

Pending home sales just dropped 11.3% compared to last year. But what if that slowdown could actually help you get a better deal on a brand-new home?

When the market slows, homeowners and builders don't always react the same way.

According to the National Association of Home Builders, 65% of builders are offering incentives, and 43% are cutting prices. The typical reduction? 6%.
