Some transactions are challenging. Others feel like a series of miracles, and this one was definitely the latter.
After the passing of a longtime friend’s husband, an almost-80-year-old widow needed to sell her large acreage property, downsize, and purchase a smaller home. After nearly six months, the right buyer finally came along, and they even agreed to help with her estate sale as part of the transaction.
But the domino effect didn’t stop there. The buyer’s purchase was contingent on the sale of their home, whose buyers were also contingent on another sale. That put this transaction fourth in line for closing on the same day, and somehow, every piece came together!
Then, just before moving day, the Fielder Mountain Fire threatened Rogue River, with the new home in the evacuation zone. Plans had to be rescheduled multiple times, but thankfully, a major wind shift pushed the fire away from town, and everyone, especially the movers, remained patient and flexible.
After 26 years in real estate, Dee calls it the most complex, terrifying, and satisfying double transaction of her career.
A true win and a great reminder that sometimes, a little perseverance, optimism, and a whole lot of patience can make the impossible possible! Great job navigating this, Dee 👏✨
