A Jefferson county grand jury recently elected to "No Bill" a client of ours facing charges of burglary and sexual assault. Managing Partner Tom Kelley presented a packet to the grand jury pointing out the inconsistencies and impossibilities in witness statements. Our client benefited tremendously from the district attorney's willingness to have an open dialogue during the course of the investigation. Our position was that our client was acting to protect his son during a welfare check.
