Ingredients:
β’ 2 bottles of pale ale (or lager)
β’ 4 lemons (halved, plus wedges for serving)
β’ 1 cup seafood seasoning (like Old Bay)
β’ 20 cloves garlic (crushed and peeled)
β’ 1 bunch fresh thyme (20 to 22 sprigs)
β’ 3 pounds small potatoes
β’ 12 ears corn (shucked and broken in half)
β’ 2 pounds precooked andouille sausage links (cut into 2-inch chunks)
β’ 4 pounds extra-large unpeeled shrimp (U15, tails left on)
β’ 8 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted, plus more for serving)
β’ Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
β’ Hot sauce (for serving)
Instructions:
1. In a large pot, combine the pale ale, lemons, seafood seasoning, garlic, and thyme. Bring to a boil.
2. Add the potatoes and cook until tender, about 15 minutes.
3. Add the corn and sausage, cooking for another 5 minutes.
4. Finally, add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3 minutes.
5. Drain and transfer to a large serving platter. Drizzle with melted butter, garnish with parsley, and serve with lemon wedges and hot sauce.
