My objective as a judge is to listen to each case carefully and apply the law appropriately, not only following the letter of the law but also the spirit of the law. Justice will not be dictated by the money the parties involved may have or on the areas of town the parties may come from or the attorneys they may have. Justice will be based on the law, not on politics. As judge I will also work out

side of the courtroom to help in the community to try and educate and prevent our children from getting themselves in situations where I would have to see them in the courtroom. I saw in my years working for Memphis City Schools, and from my own childhood, how important it is for our children to see leaders the of our communities throughout their childhood. If we take the time now to work with the children of today, many of the problems we have tomorrow can be avoided.
